Its a translation issue. The original Hebrew that is used, when translated into English comes out plural, however, in the Hebrew language its understood to mean One. In English its called "royal plural" Those in positions of Majesty, speak in 3rd person.<br /><br />Hebrew is a Semetic language, just like Arabic, so that is why in both the English translations of the Quran and Bible, God speaks in 3rd person in some places and singular in others, because in the original languages, different words are used for God.
